WHO ARE WE AND WHY ARE WE HERE?
We are KENNESAW CITY SOCCER CLUB - Kennesaw's newest soccer club that is looking to be established as the ultimate option in youth sports and soccer in the Kennesaw area.
Our Coach and Director, Chadd Nunnally, comes with over 40 years of experience in recreational , academy, select , High School coaching & play; coupled with growing up in the metro Atlanta area with personal experiences playing for the academies and clubs we appreciate today. This helps give an edge on meeting requirements for the development of a sound soccer team and club. The emphasis is on building and/or refreshing the fundamental skills of a soccer team starting with dedicated coaches, working on chemistry and communication. Other skills include focusing on the strengths as a team to be able to execute ball control, touches, passing, shooting, and tackling. With improvements in these areas, we will see progress in teamwork and opportunities for your soccer player to advance further into their soccer tenure. This could be through academy teams, recreational teams, or school teams in their future.
THE PITCH?
The “pitch” is defined as the playing surface (natural or artificial) for the game of association football.
OUR PITCH TO YOU IS:
- to create, provide, and nurture a positive and valuable soccer learning experience.
- to create an environment where soccer players develop a love for the game and continue to play it throughout their lifetime.
- to provide high levels of quality soccer training for our players and enhance their social, emotional, and physical strength in a comfortable, positive, and safe environment.
WE WILL PLAY THE PITCH WITH:
- a developmental, recreational, or academy soccer program in the Kennesaw area.
- weekly practices in the evenings, primarily Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
- weekly competitions and games (intra- / inter-league) generally played
on Saturdays and/or Sundays (light, local travel may be required).
- targeted training (ball control, passing, shooting, tackling, speed, agility, and more).
